It feels like that is what every days feels like lately. There is not enough time in the day to get everything I would like to done...also my energy level has dropped significantly. I can't seem to survive through the day without a nap. Thank goodness Brookie hasn't given up on naps yet...I don't know what I would do!!
I have started going out to Salt Lake to spend the day with my Mom about once a week. Brookie and I get all ready in the morning and hop on the Front Runner...or the "train" as Brookie knows it...around 10 or 11 in the morning. We get there just in time for lunch and usually head over to Chili's. The fact that my Mom get's a 50% discount for working there and that my pregnancy craving is their Spinach and Artichoke dip can't have that much to do with it, right? :)
Brooklyn LOVES spending time with Grandma. She is definitely closest with my Mom due to the fact that we lived with them for a short time during my divorce. So seeing Grandma is such a treat for Brookie. When we are around Grandma, I do not exist in her eyes. If I even come near her I get in trouble and get told she wants Grandma.
It might be kind of hard to tell in the picture, but not only is Brookie coloring with Grandma, she insisted she sit on Grandma's arm.
Friday my sisters came to stay the night. It has become one of their favorite things to do. I don't mind at all. It means I get to sleep in Saturday morning :) I decided I wanted to take them to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden. I have a hard time chasing Brookie around as is...so I figured I would have 2 little helpers to chase her around while I just took pictures.
Of course this was one of her favorite parts. Our little singer can't get enough of anything to do with music.
This picture makes me laugh every time I look at it. My Mom has a fish tank at her house and has a fish that looks like Nemo. The "Nemo" fish decided it liked to hide all the time, so we went with her 2 weeks ago and bought a new one. Well, now they both hide together. So every time Brookie goes over there, she says "Nemo is hiding". If you notice, there is a "Dori" fish in the picture. They didn't have a Nemo fish. Can you guess what she thought? "Nemo's Hiding"
