I have felt AWESOME this week.
My house is finally back to normal. It took a lot longer than I would have liked, but I am so glad it is done.
The weather this week has definitely given me spring fever. The girls and I have been outside every day and the wind today didn't stop us. It was still warm and Lily LOVES the wind.
I haven't really been too tired lately and I am actually starting to remember how much I ENJOY being pregnant. I don't really feel pregnant, except for my growing belly. It isn't really getting in the way quite yet, so I am taking full advantage of this small time of "normalcy" that I am getting.
Today...I have been EXHAUSTED! It just hit me out of nowhere while the girls and I were at the park this afternoon. I had a few errands to run, but that didn't end up working out. Lily fell asleep in the car on the drive to Daddy's work and I was so bummed because I was pretty sure that meant there was no chance I was going to get a nap.
Well, we got home and within an hour of being home, I could tell that Brooklyn was clearly in need of a nap. Since Lily's nap hadn't been too long, I decided to try and get them to both lay down with me. After about 30 minutes of them giggling and talking...they BOTH fell asleep! I had hoped it would have happened quicker, as Brookie was supposed to go to dinner with her Dad and I knew she would do much better with a nap. So I had to get out of bed and call him to see if we could reschedule their outing. He was very quick to agree to let her sleep, which I was VERY grateful for.
So, I crawled back in to bed with them...and the worst thing possible happened...I couldn't get relaxed again for the life of me!! Here I am, wide awake, dreading what bed time will be like tonight. I definitely could have handled a late night with the 2 of them had I gotten some sleep. I am just hoping that my body just needed that small bit of relaxation to refuel itself for the night since I know Daddy is going to be exhausted after having to work late tonight.
